Elyssa Danahy

Elyssa was Born and Raised in the Twin Cities Metro, and being a "Minnesotan" makes her very proud! Elyssa graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Political Science in 2007, and went on to Law School at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, graduating in 2012. Elyssa spent some time practicing law, but quickly realized her passion was for people, and chose to move on from "big firm" life to seek more freedom and flexibility. She joined her small family business, focusing on marketing and social media. Elyssa's motto is "when life throws you curves, you can do nothing and crash, or you can lean into the turn, trust the path ahead, and commit"... She wanted more for herself and her family, and so she decided to take all that she has learned in her professional life, and lean into the turn. This lead her right to KLRE. Elyssa is passionate about serving others - and she is excited to put all of her skills to use in the real estate industry. Her client counseling skills, patience, and attention to detail make her an ideal agent.

When she isn't working, she spends her time in St. Michael, MN with her husband Matt, children Mason, and Quinn, and fur baby, Ginger. In their free time the 5 of them enjoy playing outside, visiting new places, and watching movies! Matt and Elyssa are big fans of Eric Church, Tom Petty, and Queen, and like to spend their summer weekends up north in Crosslake, MN (with their best friends!).
