Ashley Champagne

Ashley grew up in Jackson Heights, New York and enjoyed frequent travels every summer to Minas Gerais, Brazil to visit her close knit family on her mother's side. Growing up with a Brazilian mother in a latin neighborhood, Ashley gained multilingual and multicultural skills to connect with people from many walks of life. She speaks English, Portuguese, and some Spanish. She has a deep appreciation for literature and went to Queens College in Fresh Meadows, NY for English. Wanting to gain experiences and meet new people outside of New York City, she jumped on the opportunity to move to Eagan, Minnesota and worked in sales before the birth of her first child. She decided to settle down in a small town with her young family in their first home and became a stay at home mother for two years. Wanting to seize a new opportunity and use her skills in sales to her advantage, she applied for the Kris Lindahl Scholarship Program. She is excited to meet others from all walks of life and help them achieve the happiness of home ownership that she personally understands. She currently lives in Zimmerman, with her fiance, two children, and two cats: Larry and Rocky. She has also started a small business with her fiance from their home creating home decor out of wood and resin that they do during their spare time.
