Amanda (Rue) Mages

Rue grew up in NE South Dakota and Minnesota. Upon graduating high school in South Dakota, Rue attended college in IA at Grinnell College and then moved to NE Minneapolis in 2017. Rue currently resides in North Minneapolis with their two tuxedo kitties Douglas and Wilbur.

Rue has worked in the food service industry for many years and understands the importance of providing exceptional customer service and values the opportunity that comes from being able to connect with folks from all walks of life that have similar basic needs. Rue has also had experience as a sole proprietor cleaning residential houses. This was their most recent venture before the pandemic and Rue found they sincerely enjoyed networking, prospecting, and working together with clients to provide a service that enabled clients to achieve their goals in life. Upon having time and space during the pandemic to reflect on their aptitudes and goals for a career Rue found a delightful opportunity to become a scholar and join the Kris Lindahl Real Estate team.

Rue has cultivated an approach to life based in awareness and mindfulness through practice of yoga, tai chi, and meditation and wishes to translate this approach into the process of buying and selling a home. Rue has firsthand knowledge that this major life change can be stressful and chaotic. They also see the stress and chaos as an opportunity to lay a foundation of mindfulness and peace into a new environment and Rue sets out to achieve an enjoyable transition from one place of living into the next.
